The School of Law within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Keele University, comprises world-class scholars and research clusters. In RAE 2008, 50% of work submitted by the School of Law was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. The School has particular research strength in Healthcare and Bioethics; International and European Law, Professions, Practice, and Legal Education; Private Law, Theory and Practice; and Social Justice and Human Rights http://www.keele.ac.uk/law/

clusters, researchers draw on a range of socio-legal, critical,
analytical-philosophical and doctrinal approaches.
The School brings together approximately 30 active researchers and 40 postgraduate research students in a vibrant, interdisciplinary environment. Our facilities include dedicated office suites and meeting rooms for postgraduate research students, transferable skills training, and funding to support research expenses and conference attendance.
Keele University is a member of the AHRC Northwest Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership (NWCDTP) with the University of Manchester, Lancaster University, RNCM, University of Liverpool, Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Salford. • Full Studentships (fees at UK/EU rate and annual maintenance grant)
• Graduate Teaching Assistantships (fees at UK/EU rate and annual maintenance grant)
• Bursaries and Fee Waivers (fees/part fees at UK/EU rate)
A full studentship includes an annual tax-free stipend at RCUK rate plus tuition fee (£13, 863 and £3,996 for 2014/15).
